The two layers are interlaced in panels. Wool mesh provides excellent insulation and warmth by trapping air pockets within the mesh structure. The outer layer helps absorb moisture to keep you both warm and dry. For very cold adventures, dress with Tufte Polar next to the skin and layer up with a wind and waterproof warm outer layer or a thick down jacket for good warmth and comfort.
